I noticed in some of the Formula1 coverage that there was a really cool effect on some text that they show on some of their coverage. An animated text where the letters seem to be chopped into diagonal segments that have outlines making kinda of "islands" in them.

You see this effect in the "1" above Max Versappens shoulder in this clip on YouTube.

This is my attempt at copying that!
