The least technical next step

So much of our work is coming up with something that's new. Something that's incredible.

I find more and more that the best next step to make is the least technical.

You're doing something with JS that could be done with CSS? Do that next.

You're thinking about learning a new JS framework to add something you're not sure users will need? Instead, what if you just improved the HTML in something existing for accessibility?

You have an awkward process with another team, so you're going to add in a technical solution to try and keep things neat? It's almost always easier to just have a conversation with the other team and explain how you can work better together.

Forget new, forget more complicated. What's the least technical next step you can make?
